NEW BRITAIN — After delighting fans with their penmanship, Bowie’s Caleb Joseph and the rest of the Eastern League All-Stars showed off their power strokes in the Eastern League All-Star Game Home Run Derby.
Twelve of the Eastern League’s biggest bats were on display for a crowd of 6,374 on Tuesday night at New Britain Stadium. Joseph was crowned the champion with a total score of 310, edging out Harrisburg’s Steven Souza Jr.
