SOUTHINGTON — An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a series of car break-ins last week.
Austin Baker allegedly burglarized cars on Panorama Drive, Blue Hills Drive and Rockwood Drive on July 1. He took a firearm and a credit card, among other items, from the vehicles, police said.
He turned himself after learning police had a warrant for his arrest.
He is charged with first-degree burglary, six counts of third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, five counts of sixth-degree larceny, stealing a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, third-degree criminal mischief, credit card theft and second-degree false statement.
Police said all the stolen property was recovered.
