Josh Cagan, a Connecticut screenwriter and creator of the MTV show “Undergrads,” has the honor of speaking in front of fans at this year’s ConnectiCon.

On Saturday, Cagan will do a live recording of his podcast “Like I’m An Idiot.” Also on Saturday, Josh Cagan’s web series, “LearningTown,” will have a concert with some of its stars. Then on Sunday, there will be a LearningTown panel.

Cagan was a story editor and writer for the MTV show Undergrads. He broke into Hollywood as a screenwriter. As a member of the comedy writing group, The Job Factory, Cagan has sold three projects: Super Movie (Revolution), Uncoachable and Snobs vs. Slobs (Disney).

ConnectiCon takes place July 11 through 14 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
