USA Gymnastics is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Hartford, and part of that celebration is recognizing the new and current members of the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame at an event coming up in August.
The 2013 class includes the 2012 U.S. Women’s Olympic team, also known as the Fierce Five, and the 2007 Women’s World team.
Gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas visited the Fox CT Morning Extra to promote the event and talk about her own experience both in the Olympics and at previous competitions in Hartford.
Douglas won gold medals in both the individual and team all-around competitions at the 2012 London Olympics.
