Neighbors Share Firsthand Accounts Of Plane Crash In East Haven

Residents along Charter Oak Avenue in East Haven were saddened, but many were not surprised by Friday morning’s plane crash.

“They fly in very low and a lot of the time you can hear the engine cut off before it gets to the runway,” one resident told Fox Connecticut.

Morgan Cianelli lives close to the crash site, ” my mother just heard a huge bang,” she said.

Others reported feeling their homes shake from the impact.

Faith leaders in East Haven will hold a prayer vigil for residentsĀ to reflect on their lossĀ at 7 pm Saturday evenig in Mary Tucker Park.
