It is still unclear what was the cause, but the plane crashed into the house and breached the first floor.

The pilot, Bill Henningsgaard, and his son, have been confirmed dead.

Governor Dannel Malloy says the number of victims may be higher because of what people who are familiar with the house have said, and from reports from other airports.

According to Lori Hoffman-Soarese, the plane missed the approach and continued on, but there were no distress calls.

NTSB is in charge of the investigation and will determined what went wrong.
