NORWALK — Four people were injured in a house fire at 33 Pettom Road Sunday morning, fire officials said.

Upon arrival at 5:39 a.m., firefighters found half the house was on fire and two people were trying to jump out of windows to escape the fire, officials said.

Firefighters entered the house and found two other victims, officials said. Two of the victims are in serious condition and the two others are being treated for burns and smoke inhalation.

Officials said the victims were males in their twenties.

Four trucks and two engines responded to the fire, which was contained in about 30 minutes, officials said.
