Down to our southwest sits a ton of rain around the Mid-Atlantic States, but the good news is, most of it won’t reach us. The air is still a bit too dry to support heavy rain, so as these showers get closer, they’ll tend to fizzle out.

Overnight we keep the clouds around with low temperatures in the 50s and 60s.

Monday may start off with a mostly cloudy sky, but the sun will tend to come out much more during the afternoon. The humidity will be bearable, with temperatures in the lower 80s. We then warm it up a bit more for the middle of the week. High temps will be in the mid to upper 80s, and we may even go above 90 for a short time on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons! It’ll be a reminder that summer isn’t done yet.

Friday may bring an end to our short-lived heat in the form of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
