Tuesday Night Weather: Blue Moon, Clear & Comfortable

Heat and humidity will build on Wednesday.  Some towns have a shot at hitting 90 degrees for the first time in a month! The humidity will slowly build throughout the day becoming increasingly noticeable Wednesday night into Thursday. An air quality alert is in effect for the Connecticut shoreline from 12PM to 10 PM.  That means people with respiratory problems may want to limit the amount of time they spend outside. A cold front late Thursday will bring showers followed by cooler air Friday.

Tonight: Clear. Blue moon! Low: 60s

Tomorrow: Sunny and hot. Turning humid late in the day and at night. Patchy fog developing overnight. Upper 80s to near 90 inland. Mid to upper 80s for the shoreline.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, very warm and humid. Chance for a shower or two in the afternoon, mainly late day and at night. Mid to upper 80s inland. Low to mid 80s for the shore.

Friday: An early shower, followed by clearing. Turning less humid as the day progresses. High temperatures near 80 degrees

Saturday: Feeling like September! Dry, cooler and sunny with very low humidity. High temperatures in the mid to upper 70s

Sunday: Sunny, a bit warmer and pleasant. Showers are possible by Monday. High temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80
