Man Charged With Threatening To Poison Water At State Park; Chatfield Hollow Closed Until Further Notice

DEEP Environmental Conservation Police have arrested a man for threatening to poison water at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth. 55-year-old Wayde Isakson from Madison is charged with threatening, breach of peace, and making terrorist threats.

EnCon Police said Isakson sent a series of threatening emails to DEEP employees including the poisoning threat. They arrested Isakson at Chatfield Hollow State Park and took water samples. The park will remain closed while DEEP checks the samples.
