Masked Man With Gun Robs Somers Pharmacy

SOMERS — The Somers Pharmacy on Main Street was robbed by a masked man with a gun Friday afternoon, state police said.

The man, who was about 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds, was dressed in all black when he came into the Somers Pharmacy at 629 Main St. around 4:15 p.m. Friday, according to a release from the state police.

He ordered the pharmacist to give him medication and displayed a firearm, the release states.

The man’s black jacket has black and white stripes on the collar, waistband and wristbands, police said. He drove off in a newer maroon Buick Lacrosse.
