Gordon Willard of the Connecticut Humane Society brings us this week’s pet of the week: Ernie, the 5-year-old German short-haired pointer.
Ernie loves to play with toys or just sit around. This boy loves a good mix between hiking and lounging on the sofa.
Ernie can adapt to most household environments and apartments will be considered as long as his exercise requirements are met. He would do well with children ages 7 and up.
Although he enjoys playing with other dogs, Ernie would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Ernie would also do best with an owner with previous dog experience.
