TOLLAND — Crews are working to remove a tractor-trailer that jackknifed on I-84 eastbound between Exit 67 and Exit 68, fire officials said.

The accident was reported shortly before 5 a.m., according to a state Department of Transportation alert. Tolland Fire Chief John C. Littell said the crash occurred just before the Mountain Spring Road overpass. There were no reported injuries and no fuel leaks, he said.

One lane is currently shut down and a heavy duty wrecker and the DOT were called to the scene. Littell said he expected the crash to cause “significant traffic delays this morning.”
