A series of weak disturbances rolling down the jet stream will touch off a few isolated thunderstorms today and tomorrow. Temperatures will average in the 80s with lows in the muggy and mild 60s to near 70.

Weak high pressure will move into the area on Friday with sunshine along with a slightly drier air mass as the atmosphere will stabilize giving our area a delightful last Friday of August to kick off the Labor Day weekend.

But it won’t be raining most of the time with partial sunshine and highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s to near 70.
