BRIDGEPORT — One man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Christopher Pettway, 26, was fatally wounded, police spokesman William Kaempffer said.
The shootings took place on Reservoir Avenue across from a shopping plaza at about 2:30 p.m., said Kaempffer. The other three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries, Kaempffer said. The victims range in age from late teens to mid-20s, he said.
Police did not release the other victims’ names Tuesday.
Several blocks near the intersection of Reservoir and Trumbull avenues remained taped off Tuesday night as police investigated, Kaempffer said.
He said detectives were following “very strong leads” on Tuesday night.
