BRISTOL — An unconscious woman was pulled from a burning residence on Somerset Circle on Tuesday morning.

When firefighters arrived at 36 Somerset Circle shortly after 10:30 a.m., heavy fire was coming from the second floor, said Deputy Chief Jay Kolakowski.

A woman was on the lawn in front of the residence with minor burns and smoke inhalation when firefighters arrived, he said. She told them her roommate was still inside.

Firefighters knocked the fire down and pulled the unconscious victim out, Kolakowski said. They performed CPR and an ambulance brought her to a local hospital, he said.
