Thousands of people across Connecticut are hoping to be big winners with tonight’s Powerball jackpot reaching $400 million.
According to Dr. Minsou Kim of Southern University in Louisiana, the most commonly drawn red ball in the past 10 years is the number 20 and the most popular white ball is 42. But many people just opt for a quick pick and let the computer pick the numbers for them.
The cash value for Wednesday night’s drawing is about $220 million, but the odds of winning are just 1 in 175 million.
