HARTFORD — A 39-year-old-man was fatally shot on South Marshall Street and Case Street, off Farmington Avenue, on Thursday night, Hartford police said.
Police said the call came in around 9:40 p.m. The man, whose name was not released, had one gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Major Crimes detectives are investigating.
A crime scene was set up Thursday night in the area of South Marshall and Case streets, about a block away from Hartford Public High School.
