7Day
This is all short-lived. A front approaching late Saturday night will shake things up and bring us a good opportunity for showers and thunderstorms late Saturday into early Sunday morning. If you’re headed to the Rent to see UConn take on Michigan,  your tailgating party will likely be dry. But toward the end of the game we may get our first raindrops.
A cold front will cross the region tomorrow morning with showers and thunderstorms with the heaviest rainfall by early tomorrow morning. Showers will end tomorrow morning followed by afternoon clearing. Temperatures will average in the 70s today and upper 60s to near 70 Sunday. High pressure will build across the Northeast through all of next week with plenty of bright sunshine and comfortable daytime temperatures averaging in the 60s and 70s with a gradual warming trend toward the end of next week.
Overnight lows will start out chilly early next week, averaging in the 30s and 40s before rising to the 40s and 50s. The coolest days will be MOnday and Tuesday wtih the potential for scattered frost on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday morning.
