Saturday Night Forecast: Heaviest Rain Before Sunrise

weatherA cold front will cross the region Sunday morning bringing showers and thunderstorms, with the heaviest rainfall by early morning.

Showers will end mid to late morning, followed by afternoon clearing.  Temperatures will average in the upper 60s to near 70 Sunday.

High pressure will build across the Northeast through all of next week with plenty of bright sunshine and comfortable daytime temperatures averaging in the 60s and 70s with a gradual warming trend toward the end of the week.  Overnight lows will start out chilly early in the workweek, averaging in the 30s and 40s, moderating to the 40s and 50s.  The coolest days will be Monday and Tuesday with the potential for scattered frost on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday morning.  Enjoy all the fairs and outdoor activities this weekend.
