Reggae artist Shaggy is releasing a new album and to celebrate, he will perform at Toad’s Place in New Haven.
Shaggy has gone back to the reggae roots with his newest album and collaborated with a number of artists from Neyo to Damian Marley. His album was produced by Sly & Robbie. Shaggy’s last album, Summer in Kingston (2012) was nominated for a Grammy for Best Reggae Album.
He joined the Fox CT Morning Extra to talk about his new music and perform on the show.
The release party and concert takes place at Toad’s Place in New Haven Friday, Sept. 27 at 9:00 p.m.
