Enrollment Begins For Obamacare Exchanges

Access-Health-CT-logoEnrollment is scheduled to begin today for Connecticut’s new health insurance exchange: AccessHealthCT.

Under the federal Affordable Care Act, the uninsured will be able to purchase health insurance plans through marketplaces like Connecticut’s. A variety of plans and coverage options are available.

If you currently have coverage through your employer or another government program including Medicare, Medicaid or Connecticut’s HUSKY program, you can keep your current coverage.
