BERLIN — Police are investigating a limo driver’s report that he was robbed while pumping gas early Wednesday.

The driver said he was putting gas into a limousine at the Citgo station, 109 Berlin Turnpike, when a man approached, police said.

The man, who had been in a vehicle with a group of men, said he needed money and asked, “Do I have to pull out my gun?” said Deputy Chief John Klett.

The limo driver gave him $2, he told police. When the robber asked if that was all he had, the limo driver gave him five more dollars, Klett said.

Investigators plan to review surveillance camera images, Klett said. Anyone with information is asked to call Berlin police at 860-828-7080.
