Low pressure off the mid-Atlantic Shoreline continues to crawl up the coast today with the rain shield moving into Connecticut this afternoon.  The heaviest rains will fall tonight into tomorrow morning with periods of light to moderate rain continuing tomorrow afternoon into the evening hours.  Rainfall amounts could reach 1”-2” by tomorrow morning with an additional inch by tomorrow night.  High pressure will slowly migrate south-southwest from eastern Canada and push the storm and its’ rain shield south and east, out to sea. The clouds will hang tough on Saturday with clearing skies on Sunday and mostly sunny skies for Monday, making for a beautiful Columbus Day Celebration.  So stay tuned to FOXCT for the latest updates.
