Learning the ropes in Manchester just became a bit more interactive — the ropes, the high wires, and the zip lines too.

Friday a new aerial adventure center opened on North Main Street with designs on the future.

“Soar Indoors” is billed as the newest and only indoor adventure park in the area.

“I really wanted to bring something that was community based. I want people to come in and do parties, corporate training sessions all year long,” said Dan Whittemore, the owner and builder of the 12,000-square-foot facility.

Guests can climb, swing and try their hand – and foot — at balancing on rope bridges and swinging logs.

“It is a workout,” said Jackie Carleton, from Vernon,  who was navigating the advanced course.

Soar Indoors is located on N. Main Street in Manchester. Kids passes are $13, adults are $19. For more information click
