The Windsor Locks Police arrested a suspect of an armed robbery at a Valero gas station on Ella Grasso Turnpike around 10 p.m. Thursday night, according to authorities.
The suspect, 21-year-old Samuel Taylor of Windsor Locks, was aprehended by the responding officer after police received a report of the armed robbery. Police say Taylor displayed a gun and removed cash from the register before fleeing on foot.
Taylor was found with a facsimile handgun and an undisclosed amount of cash. He is being held on a $100,000 bond and will appear in Enfield Superior Court on October 11, 2013.
