Dry weather will continue as high pressure to the north continues to keep the rain away. Dan Amarante has your forecast.

Beautiful Columbus Day Weekend with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures!

Today: Partly to mostly sunny, pleasant.  High: 65-70.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to clear. Low: 40’s.

Sunday & Columbus Day: Mostly sunny & pleasant! High: 60’s to near 70, low: 40’s

A bit of a warm-up by next week with sunshine as high pressure will be in control! Cold front will touch off a band of showers Thursday followed much cooler temperatures by end of next week.

High pressure will drop out of eastern Canada and settle over New England throughout the Columbus Day Weekend with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.  A weak cold front will approach the region with a few clouds Monday night into early Tuesday.  However, with little moisture to work with and weak jet stream dynamics, the front will cross the area dry. High pressure from the mid-west will dominate our weather through the middle of next week with temperatures averaging 5-7 degrees above normal with highs reaching in the low 70’s.  Another stronger cold front will cross the area late Thursday with a few showers, followed by much cooler air by the end of next week and into the following weekend!
