1.    What is Interval House?

Interval House is Connecticut’s largest domestic violence agency providing emergency shelter, support and community education. We were founded in 1977, and we estimate we have helped more than 175,000 people, mostly women and children.

And as part of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, not only did we celebrate four years of engaging men in this important work with our Men Make A Difference, Men Against Domestic Violence initiative, we have kicked off a new social media campaign we’re calling: “Stay Safe Pass It On.”

2.    What is “Stay Safe, and Pass it On?

Each day throughout the month, we are posting safety tips on Facebook and Twitter. We realize how important it is to reach the social media audience and are asking everyone to be a part of this campaign. We are asking the community to help us reach out to as many people as possible.

Anyone on Facebook or Twitter can be part of spreading the message of Stay Safe, Pass It On. All they have to do is Like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/intervalhouse or follow us on Twitter at@intervalhousect and use the #StaySafePassItOn hashtag.
