The Arthritis Foundation of New England is hosting a “Docs, Dine & Wine” event on Friday, Oct. 25, in Simsbury to raise funds and honor three local orthopedic physicians.
According to the group’s website:
“The Arthritis Foundation New England Region covers the six New England states and runs nearly 40 fundraising events throughout the region. Dollars raised work toward funding research, rheumatology fellowships, educational programs and seminars, training for Arthritis Foundation Exercise Programs, Arthritis Family Days, Teen Days, college and camp scholarships to help families with children with arthritis cope. It is the mission of the arthritis Foundation to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.”
