Tyler Anderson, executive chef and owner of Millwright’s Restaurant and Tavern in Simsbury, will be one of a half dozen chefs participating in the “Docs, Dine & Wine” event in Simsbury Friday night to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation of New England.
He visited the Fox CT kitchen Tuesday morning to prepare his smoked farro recipe.
According to the group’s website:
“The Arthritis Foundation New England Region covers the six New England states and runs nearly 40 fundraising events throughout the region. Dollars raised work toward funding research, rheumatology fellowships, educational programs and seminars, training for Arthritis Foundation Exercise Programs, Arthritis Family Days, Teen Days, college and camp scholarships to help families with children with arthritis cope. It is the mission of the arthritis Foundation to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.”
