The weekend started out on the right note, even if the temperatures didn’t. We continue to be stuck in sub-par temperature-land, with numbers topping out again almost a half dozen degrees below normal. A minor cold front approaches overnight, increasing the clouds and maybe dropping some light rain, but by Sunday morning, both will be gone. However, the numbers won’t change, still staying under average, topping out in the mid to upper 50s.

The temperatures are up and down for the next week – don’t get used to any consistency, other than to say that they’ll stay consistently under average. Monday they’re a bit warmer (though breezier wind chills accompany them). Tuesday they’re colder again.

Wednesday they’re up, and they’ll finally get above normal for Halloween, but clouds will keep it from feeling great outside. Right now, I’m optimistic that the forecast for the trick-or-treaters will remain dry, and rain-wise, we’re dry through the workweek. Our luck runs out, and rain may return on Friday.
