Ballyhoo! Plays In Fairfield

The rock and reggae band Ballyhoo! is scheduled to play in Fairfield Thursday night at the StageOne Fairfield Theatre. Lead singer and guitarist Howi Spangler visited the Fox CT Morning Extra to play the group’s song “No Good.”

The concert is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. Ballyhoo! has a fun, party-type sound and played on the House of Marley Stage on the Warped Tour 2012. Their music has appeared in numerous surf and skate videos and compilation albums including “Forever Free: A Tribute to Sublime,” which featured a cover of “40oz. to Freedom.”

Ballyhoo! songs have also appeared in the feature films “Beach Kings” and “Road Trip: Beer Pong.”
