Tens of thousands of Boston Red Sox fans flooded the city’s streets after their team won the 2013 World Series Wednesday night. It was the first time since 1918 the Red Sox clinched a World Series title at home.

The entire city was glued to the game, with buildings like the Prudential Center showing Boston pride; it’s lights spelled out “Go Sox.”

But not all fans celebrated responsibly last night. Boston police say at least nine people were arrested for unruly behavior. At times fans were jumping on top of moving vehicles, shaking cars and running from police officers.

Overall though, Boston Police said most of the fans celebrated responsibly.
