HAMDEN — A 19-year-old local man has been charged with raping a 12-year-old girl.
Cameron Hough, of 109 Kaye Vue Drive, was arrested after the parents of the girl approached police in August, according to a news release from Hamden police.
The girl accompanied three people, including Hough, to a large “cement tube” in an isolated area near the Parkway Plaza on Dixwell Avenue, the release states.
Hough turned himself in on Monday. He is charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Bail was set at $150,000, and he is due in court in Meriden on Nov. 25, the release states.
