A line of storms will approach and pass through Connecticut early Monday, right in time for the morning commute. The storms shouldn’t be as potent as they were Sunday in the Midwest, but you can’t rule out the possibilities of strong winds or brief heavy downpours to start the day.
Temperatures stay mild for the first part of Monday, with early highs reaching the upper 60s, but when this storm front passes, the winds will kick up and temperatures will drop quickly, down to the 30s by early evening. The rest of the week? Cold. We slowly rebound the temps throughout the week, and stay dry. By the time we get our next weathermaker next weekend, the temps will have moderated enough that this next potential storm system will likely be rain.
