Deadly Stabbing Under Investigation In Bloomfield

One victim died, one survived a stabbing attack in Bloomfield, police said.

Shortly before 9:30 Thursday night, Bloomfield Police responded to a disturbance in the front yard of a home at 24 Hill Farm Road.

When police arrived they located two people suffering from knife wounds.

Police said a 27 year old man from Bloomfield had been stabbed multiple times in the torso area and was rushed to an area hospital were he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the 2nd victim had only received superficial wounds to the hands and was treated at the scene.

Connecticut State Police Major Crimes, as well as members of the Bloomfield Police Detective Division, and a representative from the State’s Attorney Generals Officer, all responded to the scene to help investigate the homicide.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Bloomfield Police Department at 860-242-5501.
