Jarrod Moss, the assistant director of snow sports and terrain at Ski Sundown, stops by to talk about the park’s new additions.
Moss highlights what is new this season:
- New Website
- New 300 foot conveyor lift in our learning area
- Reconfigured learning area
- Addition of “TBT” Play Park in the learning area. TBT = Terrain Based Teaching.
- 20 new “Top Gun” snow guns – we now have 180 fan and tower guns delivering 100% snowmaking coverage
- Relocated TBT fan guns to maximize coverage
- Two new programs: Intro to Racing (Adults 18+) on Thursday nights and Intro to Terrain Park (kids 8+)
- FREE NASTAR Racing on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons (used to be a $12 racing ticket). One of the only ski areas in the country to offer this.
