BRISTOL— A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint as they sat in a parked car in Page Park on Friday night, police said.

The victims’ vehicle was parked on the upper portion of Page Park by Woodland Street at approximately 10 p.m., when the two noticed a flashlight being shined into the passenger area of the car, police said.

The car doors were then opened by two men wielding handguns, according to police. The suspects ordered the victims to turn over their cell phones, wallets and the keys to the car, then fled the area on foot heading toward Woodland Street.

The two victims got a ride to a nearby McDonald’s and called the police.

The case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 860-584-3011.
