Avon Post Office Employee Charged With Voyeurism

AVON — A 42-year-old post office clerk was arrested Friday on a charge of voyeurism.

The employee, Craig D’Angelo, allegedly use a cell phone to record a co-worker in a common work area at the post office at 15 Enford St., according to a release from Avon police.

A U.S. Postal Service special agent contacted the Avon police department on Oct. 22. The police got a search warrant for D’Angelo’s cell phone and his personal computer.

The search did not turn up any images, but based on a statement D’Angelo gave to detectives, they were able to apply for an arrest warrant, said Avon Police Lt. Kelly Walsh.

There were no other victims, the release states.

D’Angelo was released after posting bail. He is due in court on Dec. 18.
