A dusting to 2 inches tonight as rain changes to snow and sleet. The changeover will happen from northwest to southeast from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Higher amounts are likely in the northwest hills with 2″-5″ of snow. We are dry by daybreak Saturday with quick clearing. Slippery roads are possible early Saturday though.

Leftover clouds Saturday will clear out fast, turning sunny but remaining chilly. Sunday is even cooler with increasing clouds out ahead of our next storm.   Sunday night a burst of snow will give way to sleet and/or freezing rain.  A transition to rain is expected around the time of the morning commute. But roads could still be messy heading back to work and school next week.

Tonight: Rain changing to snow and sleet. Low: 28-34

Saturday: Snow/sleet ending around/before daybreak. Quick clearing but remaining chilly with high temperatures in the upper 30s inland, near 40 degrees for the shoreline.

Sunday: Increasing clouds. Snow developing at night. High temperatures in the low 30s inland, mid 30s along the shoreline. Wintry mix developing at night.

Monday: Early morning snow/ice changing to rain. Travel problems are possible for the morning commute. Periods of rain the rest of the day. Highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Chance for a snow shower. Cooler than recent days! High temperatures in the middle 30s.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly sunny and cold. High temperatures in low 30s inland, mid 30s for the shoreline.
