MANCHESTER — Multiple people were shot and killed late Saturday night at the Dye House Apartments on Pine Street in what appears to be a murder-suicide, police said.

Officers called to the scene at 190 Pine St., at the corner of Cooper Hill Street, found one victim in a courtyard outside the apartments, Lt. Christopher Davis said.

Inside the apartment, officers found multiple victims, Davis said. He did not say how many people were found dead in the apartment.

All the victims died of gunshot wounds, and the two crime scenes appeared to be connected, Davis said.

Police were called to the scene by residents who heard gunshots at about 9:40 p.m.

Autopsies must be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Police said the public was not in any danger as a result of the shootings.
