Saturday marks one year since the tragedy at Sandy Hook, and families of the victims are asking for privacy.
Several of the families gathered for press availability following a press conference with Newtown leaders. The families read a statement announcing that a new website has been established called MySandyHookFamily.org.
“This website is intended to serve as a singular place of sharing, communication, and contact with the families of those who lost their lives that day,” Krista Rekos, mother of Jessica Rekos, said.
After reading the statement, the families announced that on Saturday, December 14, they will pay tribute to their loved ones killed at Sandy Hook by lighting a candle in their memory.
