Supporters Want Second Chance For Those With Past Criminal Convictions

Kennard Ray was picked by Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra to be his deputy chief of staff, but withdrew his name from consideration after reports of his criminal past became public. Supporters say he and other people with past criminal convictions should not be discriminated against when it comes to seeking a job in city hall.
