MIDDLETOWN – A 29-year-old city man suffered serious injuries when he crashed into a utility pole on Ballfall Road early Tuesday, police said.
The accident was reported shortly after 3 a.m. on Ballfall Road about one quarter of a mile north of Sisk Street. Police said Jairo Solis was driving north when his BMW crossed the center line, traveled off the road and struck the pole.
Solis was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
