Emanuel Von Harris, of Danbury, was charged on Wednesday with murder and first-degree assault, police said.
The charges stemmed from a large fight that happened on Dec. 7 in the area of Wooster and Grand streets, police said. Luan Pitol, 19, died of injuries he sustained during the fight.
Von Harris was taken to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
