WINDSOR — Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a Southwick, Mass. man they say robbed the Windsor Federal Savings Bank at 695 Poquonock Ave. on Tuesday.

Police quickly distributed a surveillance photo of their suspect and received several tips.

On Wednesday, Hartford public works employees collecting trash found David Bruhin, 44, in the Summit Street neighborhood in Hartford. He was suffering from self-inflicted wounds to his wrists.

Windsor police interviewed Bruhin and along with information from others were able to obtain an arrest warrant charging Bruhin with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree larceny.

Police Capt. Tom LePore said Bruhin is still at Hartford Hospital being treated for his wounds, but will be taken into custody upon his release.
