Sunday’s 34 degrees at Bradley International Airport was the first time in five days that we have been above the freezing mark, making the snow/ice cleanup a little easier. But another influx of Arctic air is here to greet you on this Monday.
Temperatures Monday night drop to between 15 degrees and zero.
A clipper-type system will approach from the Great Lakes Monday night with light snow arriving during the Tuesday morning commute. Accumulation on Tuesday will total 1 to 3 inches with the snow tapering off by the evening rush and temperatures staying in the teens all day.
There’s some good news for those of you who do not like this harsh winter weather: the December thaw is on the way! Temperatures by Friday could be well into the 40s.
