ROCKY HILL — A Wethersfield man is to be arraigned Thursday in Superior Court in New Britain after police say he tried to rob the Dunkin’ Donuts at 1949 Silas Deane Highway.
Police were called to the store at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday and got reports of the robbery suspect’s description and that he was last seen headed north on foot.
Police checked the area and found a man matching the suspect’s description across the road. He was identified as Christopher Sheaffer, 27, of Sharon Lane. He was held on $10,000 bail and charged with attempted third-degree robbery and second-degree breach of peace.
