NEW HAVEN — Hillhouse High School received a “phoned in threat” and the school has been put on lockdown, officials said.
The threat was called into 911 from a payphone at 10:04 a.m., according to a release from New Haven schools. School resource officers are working with the police.
‘We are taking it seriously,’ said spokeswoman Abby Smith.
“As they are every day, security measures including metal detectors were in use this morning and school resource officers were stationed at the school,” the release states.
