Remember the 40s? No, not the 1940s,  but rather the temps we got this weekend. Upper 40s Saturday and Lower 40s (with the rain) on Sunday are going to feel warm by comparison this week.

Two systems are approaching, both bringing arctic air and dropping the temps. Monday, with a lot of sunshine and a few breezes, will top temps off in the upper 30s. But as the front slides by late Monday, the temps Monday night will tumble to the teens, and highs on Tuesday will struggle to get to the freezing mark.

But why stop there? After a relatively quiet New Year’s Eve (just some flurries at worst), temps Wednesday and Thursday will top out only in the 20s. And with a potential storm late Thursday night into Friday, highs at the end of the week will hover only in the teens. What a way to enter 2014!
